Reif Red Heart first to ripen.
And it was 2 pounds on the dot. It was good but a bit mealy in spots but far better than any large grocery store tomato. Who else experiences mealy first fruit? I've noticed most of my first fruit or two is a bit mealy and not as good as the later ones to come.

Finally here are some pictures. The first one is the 2 pounder and the other picture is of his little brother.

My Reif Red Hearts were the first biguns to ripen too! One of the few that our cold spring did not deter, had two ripe ones weeks ago, a bit mealy maybe. Have not grown RRH before so will have to see how the next ones coming up taste. LInda

I've had several of those really big hearts this year and it does seem that they are usually a bit mealy. Maybe it is because they take so long to fully ripen. The only really big heart that I have ever had ripen in the 2 lb range that was in that top tier in taste and texture was Donskoi. If you have never grown it then you should give it a try.
