Default July 13 eggplant harvest

Apple Green, Millionaire, Black Beauty, Thai White Ribbed, Turkish Orange, Listada di Gandia, and Antigua

Next picks will be Bianca di Imola, Jay's, Zebra and New York improved. They are going to come in much faster than we can use them!

What did you think of Turkish Orange? Other then it is pretty? Grew it 2 years ago and thought it was too bitter. Maybe I left it on the bush too long? Might have to try it again this year.

Default Turkish Orange

Spatz,
Turkish Orange was part of a Diggers' mix of seeds I grew and it was sweet enough to eat raw. Which I did. very pretty too. So maybe give it another try

Hey, Grub! Thanks for that. I might do that. There's still some time to start some seeds for this.
Are you growing any eggplants this year?

Am I growing any eggplants?

For sure Spatz. I'm going to grow about 10 eggplants. See post hereabouts. I'm looking for a big producer among the seeds I am sorting through. Any ideas?[/i]
