Default Tomato Identification.

I buy these tomatoes from a store called HEB down here.
They are called sweet select or some such rot.
they are a mix of small orange pink and red tomatoes.
Some are round some look like Sungold and some are grape tomatoes.

One is a Black grape or very dark grape tomato.
I am very tempted to grow one out just to see if it will come true.
Would anyone know what this critter is.

No idea what it is. Does the store have any more of them? LOL.

They sell them all of the time.
The tomato is not as long as a true grape but it is not what we here would call round.

I have a box still around here and will take a picture.

Yesterday I was grocery shopping and thought of you, Worth when I saw these tomatoes in the produce department. So I bought a box, wanting to try the black "grape"; but when I got home and took a closer look, I realized that the small dark ones in this package weren't black, but striped. They didn't taste like grapes but they were the only ones of the bunch that held anything but eye appeal- they had the crunch of a grape tomato even though they were small, perfectly round cherries. The flavor was interesting enough and I think they're really pretty, so I saved some seeds today- no room to start growing it out this year, though, as I've been agonizing over which 40-50 on my list must wait until another year...sigh.

I will keep an eye out for the black ones, though...I like grapes.
