Soil Temp. Map
I can't seem to locate the soil temperature map I have used in the past. Does anyone know of a good link? Thanks in advance.

I've never seen a map but I have an insta-read thermometer from the grocery store for about $6.00. I just stick it in the dirt. Works perfect!

In NC, the soil temp map is accessible through the ncsu ext. Found it the other day - maybe check your ext site.

Thanks babice, I do know about that one, but last year I used one that had weekly readings and a map of the whole country showing temps just like on a weather map.

Seems the problem with a lot of agricultural resources through the ext. offices is that they seem to be stored in the nooks and crannies of the web.
