Default Beetle

Just caught this bugger in my garden, crawling on my maters. This is the 2nd one I've found, the other was on the corn. Very docile, should I worry about it?

Thanks, LoneTomatillo.

Before posting, I, of course, searched for an image similar to the beetle I found. None are quite the same, but they're close enough to assume that a click beetle is what it is.

I've been feeding them to the turtles, they love em! Now that I know they have potential to be pests, I know that was the right decision. They better not be protected, but if they were, how would I know...
