You are so right on that, I would have at least liked to have been offered the ear on the bottom of your pictures, gosh you just go right ahead and enjoy them alllllllllll

Looks great Ray. Nice and full and well fleshed/kerneled out. I know exactly how good they are, but I can't say I'm outright jealous since I've got a Tainer about ready for harvest just around the corner. Corn's new to me in the garden, but I think it's here to stay. It's just too easy and fun to grow. I love the sound it makes in the wind. I was just reading Grapes of Wrath again (I wouldn't say again if it weren't for my half-assed attempt back in HS). Those descriptions of the corn fields take on a new meaning to me now that I'm a grower. Funny how experience changes perception.

Naysen,

One thing I have learned is that if you let the corn remain on the stalk too long, the nibs show a "dented" effect. It is then tough and not very good tasting. You want to pick it just before that "tell-tale" happens.

Yep, I like to pick before last 6-8 rows of colonels develop

Was that a Froidian slip when you misspelled sweetcorn as swwetcorn?

Yes I bet you did sweat up a storm taking care of it just like I am with mine.
Yours looks delicious!!!!
