Good price on Hydrofarm Jumpstart
Just wanted to give those of you who use or would like to try using the Hydrofarm JumpStart peat pellet products that the 81 pellet system is listed on amazon right now for $4 and change plus ~$8.75 shipping.
Already not a bad deal but the real value is if you order 2 or more then the shipping only goes up by about $3, so you can order 2 of the pellet systems for around $21, 3 for around $28, etc. I paid almost $17 last year for one system, so these prices are very good. I have no reason to believe they wouldn't last for at least another season or two if you wanted to stock up. |

I've been using "JumpStarts" for the last 4 years and highly recommend them. A lot better than the Jiffy's and a "No Brainer" to use. Thanks for the head's up Siberian. Ordered 2 more for next year. Ami

Glad someone was able to make use of it! I love these pellets, they couldn't be easier. Water with a diluted chamomile tea and you will never lose a seedling to damping off.
And thanks for posting the link Scott. |

Bad news from the seller:
It just came to our attention that the product that you ordered was mis-listed/mis-linked. You thought you were ordering Hydrofarm JS81GH Jumpstart 81-Pellet but the item we are selling is Hydrofarm 72 Cell Jumpstart Greenhouse. The product description is: * Greenhouse * Reusable vented dome maintains humidity and warmth * Perfect for both flowers, herbs and vegetables * Reusable waterproof tray * 72 cells Do you still want this product or do you want for us to cancel it? Thank you for your business. Farm & Home Supply Center |

Hmm, I didn't receive any notification other than a ship confirmation. Perhaps they didn't catch it on mine. We'll see what I get, hoping it's the 81-cell pellet system as I don't care for the regular 72-cell types.
I'll update this thread when the order arrives. Thanks for letting us know Scottinatlanta. |

Received the item late last week and unfortunately I got the 72-cell greenhouse and not the 81-pellet peat product. Big difference.
So now I'm stuck with 3 of these things. Have to give credit to the vendor through -- they refunded me item price + shipping and said I could keep the items. Anyone have any JumpStart pellet systems lying around they want to trade? |
