Rapitest Soil test kit
Okay good people, I'm not sure what is going on here, hoping to get some good advice before rather closer to planting these beds in mid May here in northern new jersey. The test kit always indicated depleted nitrogen.. potash (k) always looked on the high level level or (surplus) P- Potassium always looked suffient or high (surplus) if I leave the P test kit over night the color gets dark..so the result is a surplus of potassium I guess. Funny thing about the ph though was a month ago, all four tests in all beds tested second color sufficient or the darkest of the green which is surplus of ph.. yet this is my most recent test results.. notice the ph is actually blue!!!! anybody know what blue might indicate? tia, john

Okay, this is what the color test kit is showing after 24 hrs in the viles notice how dark the potassium is now? I guess I'd call leaf luster to ask but see no support phone number for their product lol.. also no nitrogen color.. always been clear// the ph is wierd blueish in this latest test,, I'm not sure what to make of that either.. maybe blue is off the chart and way too much surplus.. thinking to dump some peat moss in this bed now to see if it lowers when I test it again in a few weeks.. I have about 5 test capsules left for each of the four testers in this kit.

Maybe the moderator can delete this topic? I found the company phone number and I spoke with a lovely assistant who understood my questions and she offered me another kit to be sure the tests are completed in the manner that was interpreted by her helpful specific instructions.
