Default Help with this tomato from Turkey

Now,

This is a tomato that is being sold from Turkey, but I don't believe it is a "Turkish" tomato.

It is being sold on eBay as a "pink tomato." I emailed the seller and I asked the name of the tomato. The seller responded that it was just called "pink tomato."

Here is the link to the listing on eBay

What do you all think of this? I'm sure someone has a bridge to sell me if I actually believe what the seller wrote about it....

Jennifer, note that the seller is from Sakarya, Turkey and Chance has distributed seeds to some of us for a variety he called Sakarya Pembisi and has shown pictures here at TV,

I didn't take the time to find those pictures, but the variety is RL, ribbed and PINK and is being grown out for seed production for me this summer.

Thank you Carolyn. I'll do a search for that tomato name. Maybe it really is a legitimate Turkish tomato. Very interesting.

Yes, Sakarya Pembesi is an authentic Turkish variety that is traditionally grown in the town of Sakarya. Carolyn, I believe that this was the only survivor out of the three, right?

The plant sent to me by Craig L didn't make it but I don't know how it's doing for the person who is doing the seed production, and he's in North Carolina.
