Meaty Russian Info?
I already posted a request for more info on this one in the MMMM Question thread, but so far no responses.
I have a packet of seeds I received in the swap that is labelled "Meaty Russian, Paste, Red." The only place I found it mentioned was in the Tomatobase where it's classified as a red slicer. The person who sent it into the swap did include their name, but they have pm's blocked. Anyone grow it? If you have, paste or slicer? Anything else you can tell me about it? I've had it sitting on my kitchen table for two weeks now, unsure which pile I should put it in -- paste or slicer, and will grow or won't grow. |

History is at Tatiana ' s database as well as pictures. It took a couple years to get the name from original family in WV.

Thanks Patty! I did find the history. Just trying to find who is right -- Tania who logged it in as a slicer, or the package label that says it's a paste? I know any tomatoes can be used for sauce, but curious to know if this is on the juicy or dry end of the scale.
