comments on a few trials?
I have a few on my list that I don't know much about. Any comments on flavor, other qualities or lack of are welcome. I like dense fruits with small locules, full flavor, and deep colored flesh. I'm trying to avoid late season maturity as well.

The only one I recognize on your list is Rozoviy Flamingo, but I think there are several by the same name. The one I grew was a beautifully shaped dark pink heart, midseason, dense flesh, sweet and delicious.

Thanks Bower, I noticed different descriptions and fruit shape in pics for RF as well. It would be nice to find a pink tomato for sauce that has a bold flavor. Many pink plum types are on the bland side.

I don't know any of those that you have listed.
Personally, I will never grow something that has not been well reviewed. Even then I get a lot of duds. You are adventurous. Good luck ! Gardeneer |

Acclimatization is very important. What does well, and gets positive reviews in one area might fail elsewhere, and I have had many many duds in my trials. I confess that some of these I chose solely because I like the looks of the sliced fruit in cross section. I should do fewer trials, and more growouts, but I don't feel the space is wasted if I get 20% success. In my case the space dedicated to tomatoes and chiles is beginning to crowd out the other vegetables.
