Default Autumnal Effort

Seeds started 29 July.

Other than a Matt's Wild Cherry that volunteered and pushed its way up through the lawn[!], the above—working identifier, "#3 Round - 2014"—is the first ripener. This is the second generation and descended from grocery-store fruit. It's sweeter than I remember, and the skin is less obtrusive. It's probably no one's idea of the best ever, but it's most welcome.

A sight for sore eyes this time of year here! How I miss my tomatoes and I could kick myself for missing yet again a chance to grow a winter crop.
