Heads up for 2017 - chances to meet when I am in your area?
Hey all - my 2017 speaking schedule is forming up...would love to meet and chat tomatoes with some of you if you are nearby.

Hey So Florida and Austin - I am working on it! If you have good/appropriate hosting leads, pass them on to me. Right now I tend to target larger botanical gardens/arboretums...it is all about them having sufficient resources to cover expenses and provide an honorarium. This tends to limit master gardening type groups.

Worth, thanks - I believe I've contacted them a few months ago. Sometimes these things dribble in, some don't work out, some I need to re-contact....I am figuring this all out over time.
Thanks for that one, Desire' - will add them to my list. Urban, it is the Eastmont Tomato Festival - that one is iffy at the moment. Any that I am working on are in my list, and a few are still in negotiations.

Missouri Botanical Gardens, makes Chicago's look like backyard flower patch.
Sorry, my kids live in St. Louis and I'm a frequent visitor. Their endowment - slush fund is huge. Monsanto is a chief contributor. They can afford you and attendance would be spectacular. |
