Default My tomatoes so far

My plants are looking good, but having some problems with blossom end rot on my cherokee purples (in ground), big boys (in pots) and roma (in pots). Been trying to stay consistent on the water, but we've had a couple of big rains. Lost one big boy to wilt already. I'm picking and discarding all fruit that show signs of BER. Going to apply some calcium nitrate to see if that helps.

My 4th of Julys show no signs of BER and have set a ton of fruit. Should see some ripe ones shortly. Already picking ripe sun sugar and sun gold and they are delicious.

Beans and peppers are thriving. Already picking bells, jalapenos, and pepperoncinis and should be picking beans in another week or so. Cucumbers are starting to take off but are lagging a bit b/c of some shade on that side of the garden. Same issue with my cantaloupes. May have to reconfigure my garden a bit this fall due to trees growing up on my neighbor's property.

Might try to get some pics this week.

Most tomato plants outgrow the BER without a lot of "help" additive wise. Not much you can do about Mother Nature giving you too much rain and contributing to the problem!
