Lucky Tiger wins !
Very big tomatofest in Bruxelles, Belgium last weekend. Tomatolovers from all over Europe come to this event.
There is a concours for the best tasting tomato and LUCKY TIGER won it. Michel Laus brought it to the tasting. Congratulations also to the breeder of Lucky Tiger, Fred Hempel ! |

Congratulations to the International fame, Fred!
Last year, Green Tiger was the best of all. This year, Maglia Rosa tops all for me. |

We really enjoyed Maglia Rosa this year. Wish we had canned some. They would have been beautiful and delicious-next year. Great container plant.

I think I'm going to do about 25 maglia rosa next year. Customers went nuts over them.

Wow! Well done Fred for winning the first THREE places!
I have to say that I am LOVING Blush this year. I think it can hold its own against pretty much every other variety that I am growing, and I'm having a great season for tasty tomatoes Sunrise BB is amazing too! Linda |
