Hemp as mulch
Has anyone here used hemp fiber as mulch? I ordered 16 kg of hemp fiber sold to be used as mulch in the greenhouse and garden. I have used chipped branches and sawdust earlier, but now a company selling industrial hemp products had the mulch on sale, so I ordered one box. This has mostly the fibers with a bit of the stem pieces mixed in. They do also sell an other type of mulch with mostly the stem pieces in it. It will be interesting how this will perform and how long it lasts

Straw is usually preferred for mulch. Good luck with the hemp. Looks like excellent material for bird nests
