how can i do that?
i've never had a sweet potato sprout before.

Apparently all you need to do is leave it in the plastic bag you put it in when you picked it out, place it in the bottom corner of your pantry and wait an unknown amount of time.....LOL

I have one on the counter sprouting now. I wasn't intentional. I guess we'd better cook it! Ours is not as "advanced" as this one here though.

Many a year ago in the old time barber shops, you would see a sweet potato growing in a glass or jar of water supported by toothpicks around the rim of the glass.
The vines would then be supported along the wall.
