What are the best annuals I can plant in my garden that are good for cutting for vases?

My favorite flowers for cutting are taller varieties of zinnia and snapdragon.

To be honest Sherry I don’t know. It was a variety pack. Got them at Homer or Lowe’s. Never grew flowers before but I think they are cooler than heck. Sure does make the garden look spiffy.

My snaps aren't liking this heat. Not blooming much. I just deadheaded a bunch so I hope I'll see some more color soon.

I planted "Mammoth" sunflowers this year....lots of them. I don't think they will be very good for cutting, but they should be great for seed production.

Yay for free bird food!

Salvia farinacea (either blue or white) cuts well, and because a lot of the color is in the calyx, holds a long time in an arrangement.
