I should be able to make it again this year, barring any work conflicts. I'm really excited about all of the Tomatovillians planning to attend! I can't wait to meet more of you!!!

I would recommend the following Hotel.
Hampton Inn & Suites Raleigh-Durham Airport-Brier Creek 8021 Arco Corporate Drive, Raleigh, North Carolina, USA 27617 Tel: +1-919-484-0500 Fax: +1-919-484-0600 It is right next to the airport, very close (walking distance) to many shops and restaurants, and convenient to I-540. I-540 will take you to Craig's place quickly and to I-40 to Mebane. Hotel is 10 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from Craig's, 20 minutes to my place, and 35 minutes from Mebane. (Plus the hotel is about 1 year old!) I suspect a block of rooms could be reserved this far in advance if interested..... Lee

Yes - of course we want to host Tp6! We will fight anyone else who tries to host it. A yard full of tomatoes and nice people? It does not get any better than that. And this year our new barn will be able to cover us if it rains (!?!?). Sorry I haven't been on tomatoville lately. But our seeds are coming in, summer is around the corner....

Basically they're right next to each other, so close enough.... As to what's there.... Cows.... and Fried Okra's place... but mostly cows.... Lee

I know Nebraska is almost like a foreign country, but I think a nice summer vacation to North Carolina sounds like an excellent idea. Looking forward to representing the dusty plains.

I missed last year and won't let that happen this year. It sounds like fun. I can taste those tomatos already!
My husband said, bye, have fun so I guess he's not coming. Anyone from Mooresville, NC, or the Catawba county, NC (Sherrills Ford) area heading out there? I was there for work last week and it's about 2 1/2 hours away. |
