Default colourful Daffodil display

A wet winter and a good layer of compost has given me the best Daffodil display i`ve had for a few years, also last years seed that was covered with the compost have struck and are growing by the hundreds, hopefully with some interesting variations for next year

Nice display! My daffs were kind of disappointing this spring, and I think it might be because I had an extremely dry winter/early spring and did not provide any supplemental water.

A good friend of mine breeds and also shows his daffs around most of the New Zealand flower shows.
I give him a hand some times to sort through the bulbs after he has dug them up in the Autumn,i end up taking home the 2nds,this has helped me build up my collection.
Suze as you will know you just can`t beat a good winter rainfall for all spring bulbs, supplementary watering is not as good.
I hope the coming winter gives you the rainfall that your daffodils will also appreciate.
