I have (2)TAM Mild Jalapeno, (2-?)Poblano, (?)Hot Wax, 1-?)Long Thin Cayenne, (?) Serrano, (2) Fooled You Hybrid, (2)Sweet Banana, (3) Pimento, (2)Sweet Cherry, (1-?)Jalapeno, (1) Hot Banana, (3) Feher Ozon Paprika, (1) Paprika Supreme F2, and (2) Blockbuster Hybrid Sweet Pepper. These plants are all too close to try to save pure seeds this year unless I decide to bag the plant. The reason for the question marks is that I bought a package of 5 varities of mixed seeds so I will figure out what they are when I get ripe fruit. This is the first year I have been able to grow peppers from seeds. I was way excited when they germinated!
I am also growing 4 different varities from Craigs growout of hot peppers. Have 1 left of plant 7 (I am babying it), 4 of plant 22, 3 of plant 10 and about 7-8 of plant 14. will save seeds from these if they make it to maturity Can not wait to see all your pics! Kat |

At a guess I'd say you were more likely to find a nutty tasting pepper in the Anaheim, New Mex, or poblano-type peppers; but I *am* guessing. New Mex peppers don't like my yard, so I don't grow them. |

It is possible that I don't know what I am talking about! I just remember reading something in a description and then forgot where I read it. I am not really a pepper person I am more growing them for my family and believe it or not my daughter's bird (Nanday conure). He loves peppers. Like I have stated before I am a wuss

There are *so* many varieties of peppers out there, there could be one or more that taste nutty. I've just not heard of it.

Having had birds in the past I can tell you that some bird food companies do put peppers in their parrot mixes. Kevin |

Uno (the bird) picks out all the peppers and eats them first! He then tries to snuggle with my daughter and boy does his breath stink!
