Default Harvest time!

I harvested about 5-6 pounds from three cuttings/pieces planted on Feb. 20. I'm pretty sure this variety is Russian Banana. I lightly steamed some of them lastnight and tossed them with melted butter and seasoned salt. They were delicious. Not bad for a first timer. I'll probably try a few new varieties next time around and I'm completely open to suggestions. Anybody know if you can grow potatoes in the fall?

I grow potatoes here in Florida in the winter and again in the fall. I grow early types 90 days to 120 days. Red Pontiac does well

Look good Damon. I've been wanting to start myself a little tater patch. I'm thinkin maybe the leftover parts of the Totes from my Earthtainers might make a good little container.

Brian- Ya thats exactly what I did. Used the left over cut outs from the swc's. I laid it on top of some hard clay soil and just kept filling to the top as the taters grew. It took up hardly any room.
