Tam O'Shanter?
Squash Pepper 'red mushroom' is really putting on peppers. Supposed to look like a tam o'shanter. You be the judge

So since I had no idea what a tam o'shanter even was...I had to google it. From Wiki:
A tam o'shanter is a Scottish bonnet worn by men which was named after the character Tam o' Shanter in the poem of that name by Robert Burns. The bonnet is made of wool with a toorie (pompon) in the centre, and the crown is about twice the diameter of the head. Originally they were only made in blue because of the lack of chemical dyes, and were called "blue bonnets". They are now available in plain colors or in different tartans. Not really close to my pepper so I googled Scottish Bonnets and got this hit: The Scotch Bonnet (naga morris(bengali)) (Capsicum chinense Jacq.) is a variety of chilli pepper that belongs to the same species as the habanero. A cultivar of the habanero, it is one of the hottest peppers in the world. Found mainly in the Caribbean islands and the Maldives Islands, it is named for its resemblance to a Tam o'shanter.[1] Most Scotch Bonnets have a heat rating of 100,000–350,000 Scoville Units.[2] For comparison most jalapeños have a heat rating of 2,500 to 8,000 on the Scoville scale. And woohoo, now THIS looks like my pepper! So it must be a variety of a Scotch Bonnet. And it looks to be mighty hot, like it was touted in the seed catalog.
