Green Giant x Yellow Submarine F1

I am fortunate this year to be growing another cross from Bill Jeffers (Papavic). Green Giant x Yellow Submarine F1. I have two huge PL plants that are setting out large clusters of fruit. Here are some pics.
First Picture is the two plants in the front of my GH.
2nd, 3rd picture is fruit clusters taken 3 weeks ago.
Remaining pictures are the harvested fruit from yesterday. And yes the taste is excellent. Ami

Yes, nice cross. I grew four F1s for spring crop. Vigorous plants, large PL leaves. It's been a record year here for both heat and drought, so most of my plants did not get as tall as they usually do. These were some of the taller ones in the garden at 6' to 7'. In a normal yr, I suspect they would have been massive.

Very good flavor and incredibly productive.

Right now, I have three F2 seedlings in the garden. One doesn't look too good, and I already lost the fourth one planted even with 50% shading in place.

Hopefully I can keep at least two of them alive until this extreme heat breaks.

Aha, you be the one Suze. They don't get much prettier than that. PV mentioned someone down in Texas was growing it out also. It will be interesting to see how your F2's turn out. Ami
