I do wonder if some strains are stronger than others. . .

AND

if the number of spores the plant is initially hit with can determine how the plant gets by ( with the use of sprays)

It does make sense that a plant only hit with a few spores and sprayed with Daconil might fare better than one bombarded at once by millions.
