Local zoo for manure??
Has anyone considered approaching their local zoo for manure?
Might be an inexpensive option? |

Zoo poo has come up on the soil forums at gw a few times. One person even mentioned their zoo has a lottery to see who can buy it. Others did report getting it for free. One thing I consider is that the carnivores poop is mixed in w/ the rest. I'm sure it's alright though if properly composted.

Very nice link. Wish my zoo was that organised!
Gave them a call and ZooPoo is U$2.50 for 22lb, which over here is a little pricey. I guess no-one here uses it... Wonder why..? |
