If it was in a semi-clear plastic cup with the name written on the side of the cup in marker then it was mine. I hope it is doing well for you as this is my first try at this.

Let me know,
Neil

Well, I know that MISCHKA was the one who sent out seeds for MP a few years back, so we wouldn't have to pay $24/6 seeds. Thanks to Mischka, I have grown it and found it to be quite delicious.

Barb,

That picture on your avatar is hysterical. Is that some kind of dog? Is it yours?

Sue,

It could have been me. I know Jessica accepted several plants from me. If it was in a 3” peat pot it was mine.

If I remember correctly Marianna's Peace was a Tomatofest.com exclusive about 3 or 4 years ago at 6 seeds for $24. Then several folks past it along and now it is readily available.

This is Tomatofest’s current blurb.

No longer a TomatoFest exclusive. This is a pink heirloom that originated in Czechoslovakia. Seeds brought to America during WW2. Potato leaf variety producing moderate yields of 1-2 lb. beautiful, pink beefsteaks. Dense, creamy, sweet flesh with rich complex, old tomatoey flavors. Great gift for the tomato lover.
Days: 85
Type: Heirloom
Size: Indeterminate
Late Season

If the MP is the non-fluted one Fusion sent out after growing the two forms out......

IF... well-grown in a good season....MP is THE best tasting tomato.

julianna, the avatar looks to be a pomeranian...not mine. Something I found online that was too cute!

Sue,
I grew MP for 3 years. It's similar in habit to Faux, except Faux tastes better IMHO. If you're not growing Faux, you'll get a chance to compair tastes at the Taste Fest. But no doubt about it, MP's a great tomato.
