2010 SSE Yearbooks Mailed Yesterday
And so starts the drama of who gets theirs first, who whines the most, who needs to subcontract with a dog team and driver to get theirs, etc.
I happen to find out yesterday when I was interviewed by John at SSE for the April Spring issue. Thank heavens he's sending me a draft of what he writes, b'c, well, my mouth is only somewhat slower than my finger speed when I'm discussing something I really WANT to discuss, and he did give me lots of leeway.

Ah well this is one I don't have to worry about as I don't have the bucks laying around for membership. But I have the public catalog and I am happy with that. They did a good job on it.

No, it's not, aside from the fact that the online is still not ready to be used b'c many features that should be there are not there ( it's a comlex issue sonce the creation of the online was subcontracted out), so I'm darn glad that everyone is getting the paper Yearbook this year.

Ok...I'm jealous!
If it doesn't come tomorrow, I'm probably not going to see it until next week sometime...like Wednesday or whenever the next thaw comes. |

OOOHHH I got mine in Friday's mail.
I've been looking at bits and pieces last nite and Hubby this morning. I found it interesting that Wi has such a high number of listing members. Especially compared to states that have better growing seasons than we do. It kind of surprised me. Carol |

The Yearbook is the published list of varieties that members of the SSE have available distribution.
It's a 'members only' thing...if you are a member (of SSE--Seed Savers Exchange) you get the yearbook and can get seeds from it. |
