Default dry leaves on eggplant

i am having a problem with my eggplant carryover in the greenhouse in that the leaves are dring out and curling. i use a tea solution and kelp for nutritional purposes and this problem showed up a few weeks ago, also my tiny tims plants started showing a downward edge curl and some marbeling of the leaves. any ideas? jon

Pepero,
I am no plant expert, but have you seen any insect attacking under the leaves (such as aphid or red spider mites). If these insect draw away juices from under the leaves, they will curl like what you described.
Leaves curled combined with marbeling is usually caused by red spider mites.
Hope somebody else point out what other possibilities are...

thanks for the reply. i have had some aphids but very few on this plant. i will check on the spider mites.

You are welcome, Peppero. Aphid can be killed by spraying soap water, spray not only the surface of each leaf but also underside.
A simple recipe for killing aphid :mix 0.5lt water, 3 to 5 drops of liquid dish washer, 3 drops of oil.
