LOVE MY,
Perhaps your young ears could hear what the 2nd ingredient was after the compost?? I heard "cuds meal", but I am sure that is likely wrong.

Also, I dont see in the video how much water to use. Do you know?

Yah, that was kudzu meal, but if you don't have access to it, fresh grass clippings will do...that's a 13 gal garbage can, notice where the water level is, I had an old garbage can, added all the ingredients and then just copied the water level...I'll email Adam, he's the guy who made the video and ask him exactly how much....will post on here when I get an answer..take care, Dinah

LOVE MY,
I wonder how alfalfa pellets would do as substitute for kudzu? I am not ever sure they HAVE kudzu around here.

bluelytes,

in his video on making compost he mentions using alfalfa instead of kudzu so your pellets should do OK.

....My old ears and eyes dont work as well as they used to......

Bluey,

I'm not exactly a spring chicken myself. I just turn my speakers up real loud.....plus I read (using cheaters) in several different places that alfalfa works great for compost and the pellets are just compressed alfalfa.

And you are very welcome....glad I could help.
