My best guess is since I do not have a scale is that it is around the four pound range.When I get on my feet again I will invest some money in a good scale. Kevin |

Do you stake up them "Big Zacs" to a telephone pole to hold up the weight? I live in farmington and cannot imagine getting a tomato that size in lower Michigan....

It can be done even in Michigan. It just takes some work and the right mater.I have Rose tomatoes that I know have eclipsed the 1 pound range.One I have ripening in the window has to be around three pounds.From what I hear the State record is around the three pound mark.One thing is for sure having maters come out so nice and big really keeps you feeling you still can garden with the best of them even after 40 years of gardening. I have never grown one so big before. I knew I have several varieties with the potential for growing monsters but I can't get over having finally done so after all these years.

you might want to keep it if it could be a state record. go to the Wally world, aka Walmart. and put it on a regular scale a get a pic of it on the scale reading over the record.
