Several good points there Dice, especially about curb appeal and mobility. I was looking for some plans for elevation and visibility and came up with this. This particular application is used as a deer stand but I can't see any reason why the same idea couldn't be used for elevated gardening.

I had something like this in mind:

(I would not use 7/16" OSB for the deck. It will get wet, get soft
over time, and you will step through it. Thick pressure-treated
plywood would be ok. Decking it with 2x6s or similar is very
strong, of course.)

Even parking your Earthtainers on a sturdy table can sometimes beat shade providing elements around your home. Look for spaces around your home where you do get sun when you're standing up (but the ground may still be shaded).

That looked like one dedicated deer hunter. Hopefully he had the crane there long before the season opened.
