I like Heinz 1370 a lot. Have you grown it?

PM me your address and I'll be happy to send you some Heinz 1370. It's one of my favorite canners.

1370 1548 VF 2653 .......just in case you're a Heinz collector. And if you want to branch out there are nine Campbell accessions also listed.

mdvpc - I have Heinz VF seed that I am growing next year. Have you grown it?
I have not. I show that I got the seeds from Victory on 7/17/2007 so I need to grow them next year too ... if I can find them Mischka - PM me your address and I'll be happy to send you some Heinz 1370. It's one of my favorite canners. Shoot, can't beat that ... Thanks! carolyn137 - There are some others listed in the SSE YEarbook if you're an SSE member, ones that you don't have: 1370 1548 VF 2653 .......just in case you're a Heinz collector. And if you want to branch out there are nine Campbell accessions also listed. I had those ( Heinz) listed to request but never did. I did get the ones ( Heinz/Campbell) SSE had to offer that I did not have. I have 25 of the Campbell varieties so far. There is a lot of history in both of those lines and surely some good maters! Campbell Preserve Company started in 1869 and F & J Heinz started making ketchup in 1876. Interesting read on Heinz ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_J._Heinz |
