Default EarthTainers?

I keep seeing folks talking about Earthtrainers. I have a roof garden and that sounds good to me. Could someone point me twords a good starting point for understanding how they work and how to build them? Like Earthtrainers for Dummies. My husband and I are both handy so construction should be no problem. That is after he finishes making "The Face". That's the one he gets every time I come up with a new project. It comes right before the trip to Home Depot.

Thanks, Laura

Laura: Just search for the term earthtainers. Ray has posted construction guides in the workbench forums. Make sure to look for the latest greatest version as he tweeks the guides any time some way to improve them comes along. I built some last year and am strongly considering buildling some more this year. They really have some tremendous advantages and for someone with limited space as you describe, they may be your only option. Good luck.

Laura,

What Dewayne says.

But I suggest holding off until I publish the EarthTainer III "Convertible" Guide. The new design greatly simplifies construction, scrap, and the key feature is a removable, folding cage system. Here are some "teaser" photos:

I am just finishing up the End of Season Maintenance Section, and hope to have the Guide available by January 30. Stay tuned to Tomatoville!

I've poked through the threads. There are so many I haven't had any luck finding the basic info. That song from the Sound of Music keeps going through my head. "Let's start from the very begining............" Do you all realize that as a result of posting all the time, you've developed a kind of short hand. Small assumptions of previous info. having already been digested. Very confusing for the newby.

For limited/restricted space, they are the way to go...functional, economical, and they work.
