too many possibilities
Crosses that others tvillians have made, as well as my own f2's are starting to set fruit. The fever is setting-in.
I'm not looking for disease resistance... just flavor. I would love some input and opinions regarding these two goals: A coloration like Ananas Noir which tastes great to me is my first goal . Little Lucky x Black is a good starting point I presume? Would you go Black Cherry, Cherokee Purple, Carbon, or Robeson? All grow like champs and taste great in my neck of the woods. Should I involve a larger bicolor for any particular reason other than fruit size? Secondly, and this seems to be the most arbitrary, I want a great Pink PL cherry or cocktail....I'm going to be working with Polish Ellis, Cowlicks, and AGP as females, and matt's wild cherry, coyote, op sungold, and a few others as males. How, on earth, would I go about pairing them with no clear favorites? I definitely want to invite pimpinellifolium to the party, but I'm not sure if he/she should be the guest of honor, or the token friendly neighbor. Your thoughts, please? And YES, I know that there are plenty of good tasting tomatoes out there already...save the wise cracks! |
