In 2005 Anaras Noir won the CHOPTAG Beauty Contest. The honor went to CHOPTAGer Steve. I'm anxious to see it get it's colors.

Hi, Earl - just for accuracy, it is "Ananas". I believe it translates into "Pineapple" in some language...

I grew it last year - yes, was very unique/attractive. I found it hard to know when to pick/eat it...and it was not to my taste, though it came in very late and I am not sure I got it at its peak. Keep us informed!

I agree with Duane when he said all the 2005 awards should have an * next to them.

for the record duane said no such thing but i'm sure he thought it
