Could anyone help me identify these, I lost the tag for them. Maybe some thing in the squash family?

I don't think so, I dont have those kind of seed. I thought it may be a hubbard or pink banana, but I thought they were vining but these are not.

But they are HUGE already the size of a small basketball. The are kinda flattened and ovalish

If they are saved seeds, you may have a (maxima) hybrid from natural cross in last years garden.. thanks to the little bees. You may have a great new variety... let us know..........

You're probably thinking of the melon, Minnesota Midget. That's pretty small - anywhere from a baseball to a softball at maturity.
