Default Liquid fertilizer application

Hello, as a beginner to growing tomatoes, I am still using the miracle-gro tomato fertilizer.

I wanted to share what my neighbor refers to as the redneck fertilizer application method.

I perform this ritual every other Sunday, next year I am going half strength every Sunday. I had even thought about going 25% strength every fourth day.

Thanks for looking, and feel free to point out any errors or improvements to my methodology.

Looks good I go with the half strength every other week but use 1 gallon watering cans for my 10 container plants.

The outlets in any outdoor location should be protected with a GFCI.

Mine are no exception!

Redneck or not, I like it ! I've been sprinkling the MG, then watering it in. But this would work just as well. And I have 2 of those utility pumps. And yes, the outlet in the GH is a GFCI !

But just one question. I don't know the internal workings of the pumps. What effect would constant pumping of fertilizer have on the components ?

I am not sure what effect the fertilizer will have on the pump in the long run. Maybe flush it with water after fertilizer application. I consider the pump a maintenance item.
