Default Prosperosa?

Anyone grown this variety?

It's an heirloom variety from Sicily, I've never tried eggs before. Anything I need to know before setting out. My seedlings are looking ready. And I think the ground has warmeed enough. We've had 81/2 in. of rain in the past 12 days.

I'm sorry Tuscany, not Sicily

I've grown it for the last few years, although I grow in large pots rather than in the ground. It does very well for me. Flavor is good. I like it; it's very pretty too.

I like it. Mild flavor. Almost round shape. It's been productive for me.

Nice variety - I use it, Rosa Bianca, Listada di Gandia, Early Green Giant and New York Improved as my "big slab/eggplant parmesan recipe" eggplant. They don't yield as heavily as the slender ones, but that's fine - if grown in pots, I find they do really well.
