Crystal Springs, Mississippi Tomato Festival
The 2011 tomato festival at Crystal Springs is next week, June 24-25. I've been a couple of times and always love it. It's more like a big open festival with vendors, food, and some entertainment on the town square. But they do sell lots of tomatoes, and even have a legitimate tomato museum close by. The whole thing is a lot of fun.
I just wanted to mention this to any of you in the area who might be interested. Here is the link to the Crystal Springs site that tells all about it: http://www.crystalspringsmiss.com/pa...gschamber.html Here is the link to my Flickr site showing some pictures from 2009: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tomatod...7624343092025/ And here is from 2010: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tomatod...7624446184940/ Don

Hi Don, I remember you, too! I was hoping you remembered me. It's nice to be back "home"! I am looking forward to re-learning how to grow tomatoes in the hot, humid south.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Lisa
