Austin's Black Cherry leaf
Potato leaf or Tomato leaf? I started some of these from Weinerm? and see the leaves are just emerging, but they are potato leaf plants. Has anybody else started these and have potato leaf plants? I don't think I have ever had a potato leaf cherry before. I am truly hoping I didn't mix something up. Maybe I should go start a few more, just in case.

I can't think of any. If you're in the mood, you could cross reference Tania's lists of potato-leaved and cherry tomato varieties.

http://tatianastomatobase.com/wiki/Sara%27s_Galapagos I also have the Austin one and one of the folks who does seed production for me has it but I haven't had an update confirming it's PL, which it did say I think on the pack of seeds sent to me. Carolyn, and there are several cherry varieties I know of that do have PL foliage, Galina is one of them and a fave of mine , but no need to go into those now that you know the ustin Black herry is PL.

I planted ten seeds, got ten plants and all are beautiful PL's. Too bad I can only keep two plants in the end, but I can't wait to try this one

I've had some foliage problems over the years with RL Black Cherry which has effected production. I'm curious if a similar tomato from the Black Cherry variety, but PL would offer some resistance to my RL problems.
Maybe I can try it in the future in my garden. Ted |
