So many tomatoes, so little time
I went out to pick the tomatoes yesterday before they went bad, it took me 2 hours. Cherry tomatoes are a lot of work, I managed to get them all. My clementine was loaded with tomatoes from one multiflora truss, that thing is a producer! The big tomatoes I got 18 pounds worth, doubled last weeks haul.
I will post some more photos tomorrow. - Scott |

Oh I'm so jealous, I can only hope to get to the harvest point due to so much rain. What are the red cherries, they look delicious!

I got 1-3 tomatoes from each mature plant, at 8-12 ounce per tomato they add up quick. I still have a few plants I planted late in case others slack off. Its been a great harvest so far. My wife is trying to figure new ways to use tomatoes everyday. She plans on making this latest batch into salsa for all her co-workers for a 4th of July bash. I try to eat a couple a day with a little salt, my favorite is Black Krim this year. Thanks for all the great comments having a blast seeing these great results. - Scott |

WOW. I am so jealous as I have yet to get a ripe tomato off my plants. When did you set your plants out? I really want to build a cold frame over my raised beds so I can get an earlier start and earlier harvest next year!
