Default Alabama Starter Garden-First Photos

I wanted to thank all the folks who gave us great advice in helping my family get our garden up and running right (either through direct posts, or from all of the posts we were able to access and read on tomatoville. Also to Bobby P who went out of his way to advise me re: drip irrigation, best decision we've made this year.

I guess the best way to do that is to just say thanks. And a picture's worth 1000 words. BetterBoy, Sungold and Beefsteak starting to mature. (Whoever suggested Sungold....wow, what a tasty and prolific treat!

but the real excitement, is just the anticipation as we walk to the garden each morning, to see what surprises it has in store for us each day.

Very nice start; but I see way too much space wasted on grass. I can see many more beds being added in the future.

Where in the state are you located?

Nice job! So happy to hear that your family is getting so much enjoyment from your garden. Sungold is my favorite tomato treat in the garden, too. Thanks for posting photos.
