GRAFTING EGGPLANTS
I am thinking abot grafting eggplants to tomato rootstock due to V. wilt in my beds. Any suggestions on rootstock, etc?

Eggplant grafting...
Here is a link to a similar discussion a few weeks ago. Seems like one of the big considerations is matching similar diameter of rootstock to tomato.

The AHS book "Plant Propagation" (ed. A. Toogood) discusses the historical method of grafting tomatoes by adjacency. Simple, effective approach with no splicing.
But eggplants ... now you have me thinking about graft compatibility with Naranjilla (Solanum quitoense) which flourishes outdoors in the ground here year-round. I think I'll give eggplant-on-naranjilla a try this Spring.
