today i'm framing my fencing
Around my beds , I have rolled wire garden fencing to keep the deer and critters out of my beds.. the beds are framed at the bottom with 2x6 old lumber without arsenic /chemicals etc. ..todays treated lumber is not hazardous for framing garden beds.. i researched it online.. the fencing i been using needs straightening between the iron fence stake posts i bought years ago when i bought the fencing.. but the posts need more reinforcing so i bought a couple 12 pc. bundles of 1x2x8 treated pine which i will span and wire along the top fencing between posts.. this will straighten and secure the fencing for many seasons.. i will also staple the bottom fence to the 2x6 as needed. The fence will work well for all but the birds and tiny rodents .
