I dunno. It's almost impossible to identify a red beefsteak tomato by sight since there are thousands of varieties that match that description. But I will say those tomatoes look like tomatoes should.

I don't know what kind they are, but every time I reached into my screen to grab a few a big hairy hand swatted mine! :-)

I'd eat the tomatoes and those peppers next door, too!

Inside looks like this:

No Green shoulders.
Uniform in size.
3 to 4 inches.
Minor radial cracking.
Deep red inside, orange-red outside.
Not smooth enough to be Domata.

I have a few Greek tomatoes:

1. Santorini Paste (no-picture available)

2. Thessaloniki:

3. Tomatine
(not my photo)
Collected from Santorini this past fall by my cousin; will be my first year growing them: Tomatine

4. Collected from Gus' Mom (Yia Yia)
from a village in the mountains West of Hania, Crete New Years Eve 2006. No name brand ... lol ~ will be growing out 2007+
(note: plants were RL)
