Na epsilon i have never had an issue with chili peppers in the black pots.try em black if the plants show signs of stress just scuff the pots and paint them white. The super hots handle some serious heat.

I planted Thai Priks out by the sidewalk as an ornamental. I don't think people will steal much - but it is not a superhot, anyway. Plainly recognizable as a pepper, and I hardly see how I can be liable if a thief gets more than he bargained for.
