There is a new tomato variety coming from West Virginia and it happens to be names "Bleeding Heart", but it is a solid colors.

First fruit from a F3 plant derived from mother plant shown last fall. Thankfully the very unique broad stripes appear to be heritable - I have no idea on the genetic basis for this. I have several more F3 sibs, so let's see if the trait is stable.

It looks beautiful anyway and whatever you call it will be great. Congrats on F3! Pete (who loves oxhearts but now wonders what the definition of an oxheart is)
