I used Happy Frog this last year but NOT the one for tomatoes - the one for fruit and flower and had great results. However Ginger has convinced me to give Tomato Tone a shot this year so I'll be using them both to see which works best for me.

I like Tomato Tone because it's so easy to find it, they sell it everywhere. It's so easy to measure and use. It might be my imagination but it seem like the longer you use it, the better it works.

I have used a variety of fertilizers in the past... Tomato-tone, Joe's, Miracle-Gro... This season, I went with PlantHealthCare for the seedlings, and am switching to Foliage-Pro now that they're in the ground. Once they start setting fruit, I'll switch to Texas Tomato Food.

Will be interesting to see how the non-tomatoes respond to TTF... it's an all-or-nothing deal since I'll be fertigating through my drip system.

Granular fertilizers and compost didn't even come close to getting the job done for me, especially in my raised beds.

I use different kinds:

--- cow ,chicken manure, compost, as amendment.
--- 16-16-18 granular in spring preparation (lightly)
--- MG water soluble 24-8-12 (Blue stuff)
--- MG 12-4-8 liquid throughout the season
--- MG Shake N Feed (with calcium) mostly in container mix at plant out.

I would never buy commercial "ORGANIC" fertilizer. To me they are Cost Prohibitive.
