How much? How often? For new seeds just beginning to emerge.

There is no right amount in volume but however much it takes in your flats or pots in your humidity level to keep the seedling mix moist, not wet. Think of a well wrung out sponge or a slice of fresh cake. That is the level of moisture to maintain for all seedlings. Strong light and air circulation are also Very important.
